The German made MP-40 "Schmeisser" machine pistol was used by irregular forces in Vietnam War such as the Vietcong. Large stocks were still left over from World War II and captured German weapons were supplied for example by the Soviet Union.
This is a popular ABS and metal-made MP-40 kit that requires assembly. The main parts are ready-assembled, but final assembly is done by the user. Telling something of the mechanism quality and realism, this kit contains more than 70 parts. When assembled, this MP40 is a fully-functioning PFC MP40 that can fire 9mm replica PFC cartridges in full automatic.
This MP40 model uses 9mm plug fire cartridges (uses 7mm caps). This is a highly-interesting model gun that gives insight to the Wehrmacht MP40 machine pistol.
The construction is surprisingly real and heavy-weight for a model gun kit. The MP-40 cap-firing model gun kit plastic ABS parts are the receiver, receiver hand guard, rear sight, barrel and grips, while parts made from metal are the grip frame assembly, receiver end cap, muzzle, barrel nut, front sight, magazine and internal parts. The assembly skill level required is relatively low, yet assembling the MP-40 is challenging enough to add to customers’ insight into the technical design of the WWII MP-40 machine pistol.
See accessories section for extra magazines, plug fire cartridges and caps.
NEW NOV 09 UPDATE: Optional accessories added with discounted prices. Save money by ordering accessories together with the gun!
