Operating principle: Gas-operated launcher that can fire 6mm BB shot shells, 40mm airsoft/movie prop grenades, nerf-rockets and other types of gaming suited harmless "soft projectiles".
RPG-7 History
Soviet RPG-7 (or Chicom copy Type-69)was a common multi-purpose heavy weapon system for NVA and Vietcong who used it in direct firesupport, anti-armour, anti-helicopter and bunker busting roles.
Soviet RPG-7 was used by VC and NVA from 1967 onwards and was particularly effective against aluminum hullled M113 APCs. It's main role was, however, anti-personnel. Easy-to-use, lightweight and powerful RPG-7 and it's variants are still used world-wide.
All of these weapons were 40mm and capable of penetrating up to 6" of armour at ranges of 100 - 500 meters. Sights consisted of simple iron sights or optional more sophisticated range finding optical sight.
Replica features
You are viewing 1:1 full size, fully functional replica that can fire 40mm airsoft gas grenades, movie prop rounds (for firing effect), "nerf-rockets" or lightweight slugs. Made from metal and wood. Highly accurate and well detailed RPG-7 model replica. Great for display, propping, airsoft re-enactment and gaming.
Rocket and warhead are for propping purposes. There are two methods to fire this replica:
1. With prop RPG-7 rocket
Small gas operated shot shell is utilized to fire 6mm BBs.
2. Without the prop RPG-7 rocket
To fire this replica without prop rocket, an small 40mm gas airsoft grenade is loaded inside by inserting the gas grenade inside the launcher tube. This gas grenade is fired by pulling the trigger. If grenade is 6mm BB spreading type it will be left inside tube or if the grenade is slug or "nerf-rocket" type it will be propelled to about 30 meters. In case of movie prop grenade gas "cloud" will be projected from the tube along with very loud firing sound.
